As I mentioned in my letter above for Holy Week, I have been live-streaming Mass and the Liturgy of the Hours on the parish Facebook page. Unfortunately, that means you need to have a Facebook account, and some people do not. They asked why don't I do it on YouTube, because everyone can watch things on YouTube, even if they do not have an account. The problem is because the altar in my chapel is so small, I have to use my iPhone to take the video and YouTube does not allow live-streaming from a mobile device unless you have at least 1000 subscribers -- I have 3 to my YouTube channel, "Fr. JC Garrett."
I have been searching the Internet for an alternative which would not be too expensive, and I think I have found a work around. By using the Switcher Studio app, I can live-stream to my YouTube channel, even without a 1000 subscribers -- at least that is what they say. To test this, I am going to live-stream the Angelus and Daytime Prayer to my YouTube channel using the Switcher Studio app. If it works, I will move all the live-streaming to YouTube so that more of our parishioners can watch,
