Let the one who thirsts come forward,

Are you thirsty? Temperatures are starting to rise and some days it seems we can’t get enough water. Life can leave us thirsty, too. We can be parched in our heart or spirit and look to people or things to quench our thirst. The problem is that they merely whet our desire for more.


We were made for more. What we thirst for is the life-giving water of the Holy Spirit. This water purifies our heart, renews our mind, and restores our soul. It never runs dry. With the Holy Spirit, there is always more.


Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you today. Allow yourself to soak in his presence and be refreshed by the power of his love. Ask for more.
