Thus says the Lord: Here is my servant whom I uphold, my chosen one with whom I am pleased, upon whom I have put my spirit; he shall bring forth justice to the nations, not crying, not shouting, and not making his voice heard in the street.
Isaiah 42:1-2
Isaiah continues to describe the Servant or Messiah that God will send. He will bring forth justice to the nations. He will work to solve the injustice in the world. He will solve the problems not by bringing attention to himself, but in a quiet and unassuming way.
The healing God brings to this world and to our lives is often quiet and unassuming. It takes place silently in our hearts and souls. This is why it is important to have some quiet and silence on a regular basis. As we read God’s word and listen to his voice, he brings healing to our hurting hearts.
Take a moment just to be still and silent. Invite Jesus into your heart and soul to heal you.
