Two is better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil; If they fall one will lift up his fellow but woe to him who is alone when he falls has not another to lift him up.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Ecclesiastes tells us two advantages of having friends. First, we need friends because there are greater rewards when we work together. Second, we need friends because when we get into trouble, which is inevitable, we need someone to help us out.

Our small groups are the place where we can form friends in faith so we can enjoy the rewards of growing as followers of Jesus Christ. They are a place where we can find support in our times of need.
