It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper fit for him

Genesis 2:18

When God creates the world, he calls everything good. Then he creates man and calls him very good. All is right with the world, which makes the verse above all the more startling. While all is good in the world, God finds something that is not good. He says it is not good for the man to be alone. God makes a suitable helper for man because it is not good for him to be alone.

It is not good for us to be alone because God is not alone. God is a community of three persons. In our neighborhoods, there are some very lonely people. God invites us to relieve their loneliness.

Pray for the people in your neighborhood who are alone or you suspect are lonely. Ask God if he wants you to help relieve their loneliness.
