So the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab opposite Beth Peor but no man knows the place of his burial to this day. Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died; his eyes were not dim, nor his natural face abated.
Deuteronomy 34:5-6
Moses died on Mount Nebo, but no one knows where he was buried. Deuteronomy adds that even though Moses was a hundred and twenty years old, he had an energy and vitality about him to the end. This came from his clear sense of purpose. Moses remained energized because he knew his mission in life.
Living for ourselves or just living for the weekend gets old after a while. People who live with a purpose and mission in life remained energized about life. Solving problems in the world gives us a reason to get out of bed in the morning.
What energizes you? What do you love to do? God wants to use that for a larger purpose. Ask God for the wisdom to know how to use your gifts and your talents for his greater purpose.
