This is the eighth and final week of our series on the life of Moses. We find Moses’ story in four of the first five books of the bible: Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. This week, we will be looking passages from Deuteronomy.
In Deuteronomy, Moses gives his final instructions to the Israelites. The book includes some specific instructions and laws for the Israelites once they enter the Promised Land as well as inspirational verses about living for God. It serves both as Moses’ last will and testament and as a constitution for the Israelites in the Promised Land. Moses gets to see the Promised Land and then the book ends with his death.
As we conclude this series, pray today for the same clarity and sense of purpose Moses had for his life.
