“Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which will work for you today; for the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you only have to be still.”
The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Tell the sons of Israel to go forward. Lift up your rod and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, that the sons of Israel may go on dry ground through the sea.”
Exodus 14:13-16
When the Israelites complain to Moses about the Egyptian army, Moses remains steadfast. He tells them that the Lord will fight for them. This is true, but God does not want the Israelites to stand still, but to go forward; once they go forward, he will part the sea so they can move to safety.
When it comes to fulfilling God’s vision for our lives, we do the possible and God does the impossible. We keep moving forward and believe that God will part the seas so we can walk through them.
Pray today for the grace to do all that you can do and trust that God will part the seas for you.
