The Lord God then took the man and settled him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate it and care for it.
Genesis 2:15

God created the world and it is good.  Then God entrusts the first human with the job of taking care of the world. Adam lives in paradise and has work for which he is uniquely suited.

We have each been created for a purpose. God gave us distinct talents and abilities, and we are called to use our gifts to protect God’s creation. God intended for us to labor, but certainly not alone. We are called to work together for all creation.

How about you?  Where has God called you to be and grow?  Are you sharing your talents with the world?  Give thanks to God for all of your unique gifts. Pray to the Holy Spirit for the wisdom to use them well.
