We continue our series called “Cornerstone,” looking at the foundational principles of our parish. These are principles that have been instrumental in the growth of our parish. We have looked at the importance of loving our parish and extending grace. This week, we are looking at the importance of acting like an “ecclesia.”
Ecclesia is the Greek word for church. An ecclesia was a meeting of people for the benefit of the community. Jesus established the Church to be a movement that acted for the benefit of the whole world and changed the world for the better.
Pray today that our parish would be the ecclesia Jesus envisioned.
