Jesus said, “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

John 13:35

Jesus did not say that people will know we are his followers by holding the right doctrine as important as that is. People know we are his followers when we love and care for each other. When the Church is a community of people that accepts, forgives, shows kindness and compassion, then outsiders will be draw to the Church. You will have to lock the doors to keep people out of a community that loves one another. 

Pray today that our parish would be a community where we sacrifice to love each other.
