A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was with child and wailed aloud in pain and she labored to give birth.

Then another sign appeared in the sky; it was a huge red dragon, with seven head and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadems. Its tail swept away a third of the stars in the sky and hurled them down to earth.

Revelation 12:1-4

Throughout the Scriptures, Mary is shown as the great enemy of the devil. Mary is the woman who is clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet. She gives birth to Jesus.

The dragon is the devil. It is the devil who swept away a third of the stars in the sky or the heavens. This verse is cited to believe that it was a third of the angels who fell with the devil.

Mary is a great ally in our battle with the devil. Today call upon her help by praying a Hail Mary.
